Across The Pond: The Tour

Across The Pond is an artistic partnership between the University of Southern California, the Institute of Contemporary Music in London, the University of Arts London, and Trinity-Laban.

 

Across the Pond is a London Maymaster course offered by the Thorton School of Music at the  University of Southern California in Los Angeles.  Students from USC, ICMP, Trinity-Laban, and UAL, collaborate to create a body of original music to be performed in various venues around London. The course integrates, photography and imagery to brand artists and promote our mini tour. Classroom topics include songwriting, global networking, music as a universal language, and the importance that fashion played in the British Invasion and modern popular music. The experience culminates in a recording session at Abbey Road Studios and at the Camden Club.
